<p>A piston ring installation device, comprising a base (110) having a through hole (111), a guide member (120) positioned in the through hole, fixed to the base, accepting and vertically positioning the head part of a piston suspended vertically downward, and guiding a piston ring on the outer peripheral surface thereof in a diametrally increased state, a piston pressing member (130) disposed above the base, movably supported on the guide member toward a recessed part (121b), and having a tapered inner wall surface (131) downwardly divergent so as to be allowed to abut on the upper end edge part of the piston, a drive mechanism (140) disposed on the base and driving the piston pressing member at least in a vertical direction, and a ring feed mechanism (150) for feeding the piston ring on the guide member upward, whereby an installation operation can be rapidly performed to increase a productivity.</p> |
