<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forceps for an endoscope with which even when a distal end forceps piece is opened by a mistake, live body tissue is not lost while the live body tissue is taken in the distal end forceps piece and drawn out through a treatment tool insertion channel. <P>SOLUTION: The forceps for the endoscope is constituted to have the distal end forceps piece 1 which is disposed at a distal end of a flexible sheath 10 and opens and closes in a shape of a beak by remote manipulation from a proximal end side of the flexible sheath 10, wherein an elastic cover 11 is equipped at a distal end aperture of the flexible sheath 10 and the distal end forceps piece 1 projects and recedes through the distal end aperture of the flexible sheath 10 thrusting the cover 11 aside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
