CAMERA-EQUIPPED CELLPHONE, BAR CODE READING METHOD AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera-equipped cellphone reading a bar code with high accuracy.

SOLUTION: This camera-equipped cellphone has: a display part displaying an image photographed by a camera; a frame output part making the display part display a bar code frame restricting a direction of the bar code photographed by the camera aslant to an arrangement direction of pixels of the camera; and a bar code extraction part extracting an image of the bar code from an image photographed inside the bar code frame. The bar code extraction part can have a conversion part binarizing the extracted image of the bar code, and transmitting it to an external information processor. The bar code extraction part can have a threshold value determination part determining a threshold value for the binarization such that respective widths of a bar and a space showing a start code in the extracted image of the bar code become identical.
