PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately form the moving track of an agitation blade. SOLUTION: A cooking apparatus is provided with: a cooking bowl 3 which houses ingredients in its inside and cooking them; an elevating and lowering head part 5 which is supported by a machine base frame 15 so as to be elevated and lowered and which can be elevated and lowered by the drive of an elevating and lowering driving motor 27; rotary shafts 7 and 9 which are rotatably supported by the elevating and lowering head part 5 and can be rotated back and forth by the drive of an agitation driving motor 35; and the agitation blades 11 and 13 which are supported by the rotary shafts 7 and 9 through swing arms 37 and 39. By the combination of the vertical movement of the elevating and lowering head part 5 and the back and forth rotation of the rotary shafts 7 and 9, the agitation drive of the agitation blades 11 and 13 relative to the cooking bowl 3 is performed.
