PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system, a communication method, and a control program capable of easily making a re-transmission request on the occurrence of a communication error. SOLUTION: In the case that data of an error page in an abnormal state exist because an error takes place on the way of FAX reception and the communication is terminated or the like when the FAX reception data received by a facsimile machine are captured therein, the error page is automatically discriminated, the error page data 80 for denoting the image of a page describing re-transmission support information 70 such as error contents and its countermeasures in place of the FAX reception data of the error page are generated and the error page data 80 are printed out or displayed. Since a recipient has only to confirm the output result of the error page data 80 to be able to recognize the caused error contents and its countermeasures, the recipient can easily make a re-transmission request such as making a quick request to a sender to retransmit pages which the recipient cannot have received.
