PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to easily manufacture a thermoelectric conversion module having a high efficiency and a small variation in performance in a high yield rate. SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing the thermoelectric conversion module comprises the steps of fixing a plate material 1 for forming a p-type and an n-type thermoelectric conversion element on an individually corresponding temporary fixing member 12, forming a notching groove 10 for notching from the surface side to the back side of the plate material 1 on the plate material 1 in cross stripe, scraping off the plate material 1 in a region sandwiched by the notching groove 10 every other in each row and shifted by one row adjacent every other position with a microblast 3, and arranging a plurality of thermoelectric conversion elements 5 of each row on the member 12 at intervals each other and alternately in each adjacent row. After moving and integrally fixing the element 5 to the corresponding substrate with the member 12 and the substrate arranged facing each other, the p-type and the n-type elements 5 are alternately fitted with the substrate faced each other.
