PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring material made of stainless steel foil in which the peeling of a plating layer can be prevented, and which has high durability. SOLUTION: Regarding the spring material made of stainless steel foil, on the surface of austenitic stainless steel foil with a thickness of≤75μm, a base plating layer consisting of Ni, an intermediate plating layer consisting of copper on the base plating layer and surface layer plating consisting of silver on the surface of the intermediate plating layer are formed. The intermediate plating layer consisting of copper has a plating thickness of at least 0.2μm. The spring material is applied to switches for various electronic components.
