PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately receive an article supplied from a supply device to a transport device in a desired receiving device without monitoring the transport state of the article in the transport device. SOLUTION: This transport system includes: the supply device for supplying the article; the transport device for transporting the article supplied from the supply device; and the receiving device for receiving the article transported in the transport device at a predetermined receiving position. In supplying the article from the supply device as the origin of supplying the article to the transport device, the transport time required for transporting the article from the supply device to the receiving device as the receiver of the article is determined to operate a receiving mechanism of a receiver on the basis of the transport time.
