PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the appearance of an opening part of an insert-through hole with simple structure without needing decorative parts or a sewing process of patch sewing or the like. SOLUTION: In this lock operation part structure of an armrest, a base end part 4 is turnably mounted to a seat back 2 and used in a position of a working state or a housed state, and a lock mechanism 6 is provided inside to lock the state of being disposed in either one of the positions of the working state and housed state, and further a lock release operating member 12 is provided at the tip part to release the locked state. The insert-through hole 18 is provided for projecting the lock release operating member 12 outward from the inside. The insert-through hole 18 is formed of an opening formed by overlapping either one of a first outer skin 19 and a second outer skin 20 forming an external surface, on the upper side or the lower side, and the direction of the opening is formed to coincide with a turning direction into the position of the working state or housed state.
