METHOD FOR FORMING COLOR IMAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a color image with favorable cleaning property even when a spheric toner and a blade cleaning method are used.

SOLUTION: The method includes processes of: electrifying an electrostatic latent image carrying body; forming an electrostatic latent image with a separated color on the electrostatic latent image carrying body; developing the electrostatic latent image while a developing unit which develops the electrostatic latent image with the respective color toner is fixed or moved with respect to the electrostatic latent image carrying body; transferring the developed toner image onto a paper sheet or temporarily transferring onto an intermediate transfer member; cleaning the electrostatic latent image carrying body after the toner image is transferred; and fixing the toner transferred onto a transfer sheet by heat or pressure. At least one color toner in the color toners is a spheric toner having 0.94 to 0.99 sphericity, and at least one color toner of other toners is an irregular toner having 0.85 to 0.93 sphericity.
