PURPOSE: A process is provided to produce an adhesive product having vent grooves with continuous various shapes on the adhesive face thereof, which has beautiful appearance and a ventilation effect. And an apparatus is provided also to produce the adhesive product. CONSTITUTION: The process comprises the steps of: spreading an adhesive uniformly on a release paper to a fixed thickness by a measuring bar; forming the vent grooves with continuous various shapes on the adhesive, wherein the adhesive contains an opacifier, a colorant, or a mixture of the opacifier and the colorant to show the vent grooves clearly. The vent grooves are formed on the adhesive by a vent groove forming apparatus(20) and the vent groove forming apparatus(20) comprises a carving bar(21), at least one carving blade(26), a driving disc(22), a piston bar(23), and a driving means.
