<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system in which reduction of combustion efficiency is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: This system is provided with a fuel cell 3 to generate electricity using fuel gas and oxidizer gas, a mixing part 4 to mix the fuel exhaust gas from the fuel cell 3 and oxygen-containing gas, and a combustor 7 to combustion-treat the mixed gas generated in the mixing part 4 using a combustion catalyst.
