PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power control method that can be applied to various temperature controllers and can reduce the amount of power consumption effectively. SOLUTION: The power control method determines whether the temperature controller, such as an air conditioner, is off, and outputs a signal for preventing the temperature controller from being turned on to the temperature controller as a temperature signal during time corresponding to a preset amount of time in advance even if the output signal of a temperature sensor reaches a value for turning on the temperature controller after the determined result is off.
