PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformer equipped with a tap changer which is excellent in operability of capable of performing easily setting operation which changes an output voltage to a predetermined value, workability in maintenance and exchange of the transformer main body and operation reliability. SOLUTION: The transformer 10 consists of a casing 12 formed in an abbreviation box type or a cylinder vessel type in which transformer main bodies 11, 11a are built; a cover 13 which is installed over an aperture in the casing 12 upper part; a transformer supporting part 16 in which the transformer main body 11 hung on the cover rear face side through a suspended member 15 is arranged; and a tap changer 20 which is arranged on the transformer supporting part 16, switches the state of wiring connection of a winding tap of the transformer main body 11 and I/O terminals A-G protruded on the cover part 13, and sets an output voltage.
