PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe relay system etc., which is easily adaptive to increase of a safe component. SOLUTION: The safe relay system is equipped with a master unit 5 which controls the operation of a relay, one or more input expansion units 6 for obtaining an input state from the safe component, an input blocking unit 14 which divides a plurality of input states into blocks to generate an input blocking state, and an input end unit 12 which is connected to an end of the input expansion unit. The input blocking unit 14 puts input states of a plurality of input expansion units connected behind into an input blocking state by an input blocking state output part 15, and transmits it to the master unit through input expansion units connected before. The master unit obtains the input states of the input expansion units and the input blocking state of the input blocking unit 14 and controls the relay according thereto. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
