PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving object identification system for tracking an object on the basis of the image data photographed with a visible light camera and capable of automatically operating the wiper by identifying meteorological changes. SOLUTION: The mobile object identification system is constituted of: a visible light camera 3 for photographing an object by the visible light; an infrared ray camera 9 for photographing the object by the infrared ray; an image processing section 2 for tracking the object on the basis of the image data photographed with the visible light camera 3; a display section 7 for displaying the result of image processing; the wiper 13 for the visible light camera fitted to the visible light camera 3; and a meteorological identification section 8 for identifying the meteorological changes on the basis of the strength of a video signal generated by the infrared ray camera 9 to drive the wiper. The meteorological identification section 8 identifies the meteorological changes on the basis of the contrast of the photographed image photographed by the infrared ray camera 9.
