PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously measure the peel strength of a cover tape at a high speed with higher precision in the continuous peel strength inspection device for inspecting the peel strength of the cover tape while continuously peeling the cover tape from a carrier tape constituting a tape-like packaging material. SOLUTION: In the continuous peel strength inspection device (1), the cover tape (3) is trained over a fold-back roller (11) for folding back the feed direction of the cover tape, which is peeled from the carrier tape (2) while drawing and feeding the cover tape by a carrier tape feed means (10) for drawing the carrier tape from the rear of a peeling position (17) to feed the same, and drawn and fed at the same time by cover tape feed means (9 and 12) to measure the tension acting on the fold-back roller (11) by a load cell (13). This inspection device 1 has a control means including a sensor (16) for controlling the feed speed of the cover tape so that the peeling position (17) is received within a predetermined range.
