PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling the welding by a three-dimensional X-Y-Z coordinate system. SOLUTION: In the method, by which a welded structure is provided as several pieces disposed with an combined body on a three-dimensional supporting base according to the welding structure, and the picture of the welding structure is taken and a picture map related to the structure is prepared and welding points of the structure are distinguished by using this map, and a welding parameter related to this, especially a starting point, a welding type and a welding method to use, are decided, and these control data are transmitted to a control system in the welding apparatus. The welding is performed so that the control of the welding apparatus on the X-Y plane face is based on the supplied picture map and the control data, and the levels on the welding face at the Z-axis in the coordinate system, that is, in the vertical axial direction are successively measured, and information decided related to the levels is transmitted to the control system in the welding apparatus and thus, the welding apparatus is controlled at real time in the Z-axial direction, too.
