PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the automatic rising structure of a bar-shaped member for easily taking out a brush or the like from a container while meeting a request of hardly causing the brush or the like to fall from the container, and to provide a method of easily manufacturing the bar-shaped member of such structure. SOLUTION: A rolling surface 32 and a rising support surface 35 are formed on a rising action part 34 of the bar-shaped member 5. A first magnet 31 is provided near the rising support surface in the state of a first magnetic pole facing one end direction, and the magnetic force of the first magnetic pole acts on the rising support surface. A second magnet 23 with an upward facing second magnetic pole opposite to the first magnetic pole, or a ferromagnetic body is provided near a rising operating surface 25, and the magnetic force of the second magnetic pole acts on the rising operating surface. The bar-shaped member always receives energizing force in a rising direction so as to be automatically shiftable into the rising state from a lying state by the magnetic attraction force of two magnets. A rising restriction part 37 is provided for maintaining the bar-shaped member in the lying state within a placing face 19 against this energizing force when closing a cover body 11 of the container.
