PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity and to perform stable trimming by a trimming apparatus of easy structure when trimming a masking cover. SOLUTION: The trimming apparatus 10 is provided with: an upper base 11 for mounting a cutting edge 15; and a lower base 21 for holding the masking cover 1 when trimming. The lower base 21 has a vertical guide part 23 and a horizontal guide part 26 to guide and hold two orthogonal surfaces of the masking cover 1, and a cut face is formed between the two surfaces of the held masking cover 1. By relatively moving the cutting edge 15 in contact with the lower part of a vertical wall surface 5a of a projecting part 5 in the masking cover 1, a non product part 7 is removed.
