PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To plant the cuttings of Tsugaru cypress which is said to be best suited for a hedge, and improving the rooting rate of the same. SOLUTION: This method for improving the rooting rate maximally is provided by immersing the cuttings of the Tsugaru cypress in a solution obtained by mixing 9.6 ml of Oxyberon liquid (made by Shionogi Pharmaceutical)in 1 L water, for one day, before planting them to soil.
