PURPOSE: Provided is a double-sided tape automatic taping apparatus for the preparation of a secondary battery to adhere a double-sided tape on the front and back sides of a battery pack, to simplify the structure of an apparatus and to improve productivity. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus(1) comprises a battery pack waste paper supply device(10) which loads a battery pack transferred on a zig by vacuum adsorption when stopped, and vacuum-adsorbs the battery pack where a both-sided tape is taped to draw it from the zig and to load onto a transfer belt conveyer(2); a double-sided tape supply device(20) which supplies intermittently a both-sided tape roll(70) by a constant length, passes the roll by winding the lower part of a taping roller and collects a releasing paper by winding it to a collection roll; a double-sided tape mount plate up and down operation device which operates the mount plate(21) where the double-sided tape supply device is mounted up and down intermittently to allow the both-sided tape of the roll passing the lower part of the tapping roller to be contact with the surface of the battery pack; a double-sided tape cutting device(40) which cuts the both-sided tape when the tape roll moves by a certain distance; and a double-sided tape taping device(50) which tapes the both-sided tape on the surface of the battery pack by operating the zig front and back.
