PURPOSE: An image projector is provided to effectively cool elements received in a duct by flowing air through the duct. CONSTITUTION: An image projector includes a lamp(110), an optical system(120), and a DMD unit(130). The optical system(120) projects light irradiated from the lamp(110) to a screen through the DMD unit(130). The optical system(120) includes optical elements, such as a color wheel, a projection lens(121), and a reflective mirror. The DMD unit(130) is an optical modulation device for modulating an incident light according to image data in order to achieve light having a desired image. Light outputted from the lamp(110) becomes an image light including the desired image when the outputted light is modulated by the DMD unit(130).
