<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a misfire detection device using a resolver capable of easily and surely detecting a misfire by effectively using the resolver for motor position detection. <P>SOLUTION: This misfire detection device using the resolver is provided with an engine E and a motor M as drive source, has the motor M put between the engine E and a transmission T, and is adopted to a hybrid vehicle having a structure in which a rotor of the motor M and a crank shaft 9 of the engine E are connected, and is provided with a detection means detecting motion of the engine E and the resolver R provided between the engine E and the motor M, and determines a misfire by continuously detecting passing time between pulses based on signal of the detection means and passing time between pulses based on signal from the resolver R respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
