<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic timepiece that can prevent the elastic change of an input spring by signal input operation and can appropriately maintain signal input timing. <P>SOLUTION: A reset-to-zero press spring section 360a is pressed, or the like by a reset button 10 when resetting chronograph hands 4, 5 to zero in the timepiece having chronographs, and a signal input spring 360c is not pressed directly. Therefore, the urging force of the signal input spring 360c itself realizes contact to a reset terminal 701, so that the signal input spring 360c cannot be plastically deformed by the operation of the reset button 10.
