<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust device for a diesel engine capable of preventing explosion by unburned gas by reducing temperature of unburned gas exhausted from the diesel engine or removing spark contained in exhaust gas. <P>SOLUTION: In this exhaust device for the diesel engine for leading exhaust gas exhausted from the diesel engine 1 into an exhaust silencer 9 through an exhaust pipe 2, the exhaust pipe 2 is branched into an exhaust pipe (flow-in pipe) 3 side and a bypass pipe 4, a water tank 7 in which water is filled onto an exhaust pipe (flow-in pipe) 3 side is attached, and a partition valve 8 is attached on the halfway of the bypass pipe 4. When the exhaust gas exhausted from the diesel engine 1 contains unburned gas, the partition valve 8 is closed so that the exhaust gas passes through water in the water tank 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
