<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate insulation displacement work with an electric wire by improving the reliability with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: This insulation displacement terminal 30 is constituted by being provided with a fitting connection part 31, an insulation displacement part 33 and a plate-like terminal body part 34. The body part 34 has: a box-type mold influx prevention part 37 coaxially connected with the connection part 31 on the base end side of the connection part 31 and having a cross-sectional shape similar to that of the connection part 31 with stoppers 37a and 37b for restricting mold influx formed on the tip side and the base end side; and a connection part 35 for connecting the base end side of the prevention part 37 to the insulation displacement part 33 so as to make the arrangement direction of the connection part 31 and the prevention part 37 different from the core wire direction of a wire brought into press contact with the displacement part 33. Thereby, a force applied to the terminal 30 in bringing the wire into press contact with the insulation displacement part 33 is prevented from directly influencing the connection part 31, and influent mold in sealing and fixing the insulation displacement part between the insulation displacement part 33 and the wire by resin mold is prevented from reaching the connection part 31 so that reliability of the terminal can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
