PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a health promotion implement effective for the facilitation in the circulation of the blood, cell activation and the dissolution of stiff shoulders, lumbago, arthralgia or the like by preventing the degradation and oxidation of germanium and attaining the far infrared radiation effect and anion effect of the germanium using a simple production method where silver is melted, and, at the time when the molten metal temperature of the silver drops to 800 to 1,000°C, germanium or germanium and indium are charged therein to form a germanium-containing alloy material, and to provide the production method. SOLUTION: The production method for the health promotion implement is provided with: a melting stage S1 where silver is melted at 900 to 1,100°C; a charging stage S3 where, at the time when the temperature of the molten metal of the silver drops to about 800 to 1,000°C, a prescribed ratio of germanium or germanium and indium are charged therein; and a working stage S5 where the germanium-containing alloy material formed by above each stage is worked.
