PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make many listeners satisfied with reproduced sounds when an original audio signal is formed into multichannels and transmitted. SOLUTION: Multichannel processing parts 4-1 to 4-n form the original audio signal of stereo 2 channels into multichannels. A plurality of kinds of multichannel audio data are transmitted through recording media or communication media such as 100a, 100b and 100c, and a user reproduces the multichannel audio data of a desired type.
