METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TREATMENT OF WASTEWATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the lowering of a filtering capacity to sharply reduce an operation cost when wastewater having a solid component suspended therein is treated using a filter apparatus to remove the solid component. SOLUTION: In the wastewater treatment method, wastewater is supplied to the filter apparatus 4 provided with a plurality of filter elements 8 and the treated clean water is discharged to a treated water discharge means 40. The solid component is separated when it is deposited on the filter elements 8 to discharge the wastewater as suspended water and this suspended water is purified by a purifying means 18 to obtain clean purified water equivalent to the treated clean water and this clean purified water is discharged to the treated water discharge means 40.
