PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbine brush for a vacuum cleaner structured to be easily controlled and maintained while preventing bedding or the like from being clamped or sucked into a suction slot provided at the bottom face of the turbine brush. SOLUTION: This turbine brush for the vacuum cleaner comprises a brush body 10 having an upper case body 11 and a lower case body 12 formed with the suction slot 21; an agitator unit 20 provided with brush bristles 25; a turbine unit 30 rotatably supported within the lower case 12; and a power transmission unit 50 for operating the agitator unit 20 and the turbine unit 30 associated with each other. The suction slot 21 is provided with a plurality of ribs 22 to prevent bedding, cloth, or the like from being sucked into the brush body 10 by suction force. The brush bristles 25 are provided at spaces corresponding to the suction slot 21 so that at least part of the brush bristles can pass through the suction slot 21 to contact a cleaned surface.
