PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly wash and polish tokens while preventing the bites of the medals. SOLUTION: This token-washing/polishing device is provided with an upper side brush board 4 with its lower face furnished with brush bristles 4b, and a lower side brush board 5 with its upper face furnished with brush bristles 5a so that the respective brush bristles 4b, 5a face each other; a token input port 2 for inputting tokens m, between the brush boards 4, 5; a cylindrical body 6 for surrounding the outer peripheries of the respective brush boards 4, 5 and the lower part of the lower brush board 5; a token discharge port 7 provided at the cylindrical body 6 to discharge the tokens m between the respective brush boards 4, 5; a motor 10 for rotating the lower brush board 5; and a feed water pump 13 for feeding wash water to the facing parts of the respective brush bristles 4b, 5a. The inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical body 6 is projected inward to form a token receiving shelf 6a, and the tokens m shifted to the outer peripheral direction by centrifugal force are held by the token receiving shelf 6a to hardly cause the tokens to bite into a clearance between the lower brush board 5 and the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical body 6.
