A stent (100) comprises a tubular framework having an outer surface (116) and an inner surface (124) and a plurality of interconnected struts (108). An outer covering (112) of PTFE extends along at least a portion of the outer surface of the expandable framework and an inner covering (120) of PTFE extends along at least a portion of the inner surface of the expandable framework. At least a portion of the inner and outer coverings are contiguous with one another. The stent further comprises at least one radiopaque marker (128) disposed between the inner covering and the outer covering.
