摘要 PURPOSE: A vulcanizing mold and a pneumatic tire for improving noise performance are provided to minimize pumping noise generated as the air is not compressed in a closed groove by flowing the air through an air passage formed at an adjacent block to an opened groove and accordingly to increase noise performance. CONSTITUTION: In a pneumatic tire for improving noise performance, a tread unit comprises a closed groove(11) and an opened groove(12). An air passage(2) for communicating with the opened groove is formed at a block(15) forming the closed groove. The air passage is formed at a lower end of the block and the diameter is within 0.5¯5mm. An inner periphery of the air passage is formed as an inclined surface. A tire vulcanizing mold is composed of a projection unit(30) forming the grooves; a block forming unit(32) divided by the projection unit; and a blade(35) for splitting and dividing the block. A core(4) is interposed between the projection units comprising the block forming unit. One end of the core is combined by a hinge shaft(41) to turn the one end of the core. A placing sill(43) for limiting the rotation of the core in one direction is disposed at which the other end of the core is positioned.
