MULTI-MODE CRYSTAL OSCILLATOR, IN WHICH TWO CRYSTAL OSCILLATORS ARE MOUNTED IN ONE PACKAGE

PURPOSE: A multi-mode crystal oscillator is provided to reduce total size by mounting two crystal oscillators for oscillating frequencies of different modes into one package. CONSTITUTION: A multi-mode crystal oscillator includes a crystal plate(10) for reference frequency and a crystal plate(20) for clock. The crystal plate for reference frequency and crystal plate the clock are arranged in one ceramic package in order to output frequencies of two modes. The ceramic package includes a base layer(12), at least one buffer layer(14) having an internal terminal on a circumference part of the base layer, at least one support layer(16) apart from the internal terminal of the buffer layer on the circumference part of the buffer layer, and at least one lead(18) formed on the support layer. Electrodes are formed on the crystal plate for reference frequency and the crystal plate for a clock in order to be connected to the internal terminal of the buffer layer.
