LOCK-TYPE MANHOLE LID COMBINED WITH A CAST KNOB AND A LOCK UNIT INSTALLED AT THE UNDERSIDE OF THE MANHOLE LID TO MOVE ABOUT A HINGE

PURPOSE: A lock-type manhole lid combined with a cast knob is provided to facilitate lock/unlock of the manhole lid by rotatively interlocking a lock unit with a vertical motion of the cast knob. CONSTITUTION: A lock-type manhole lid(40) is mounted at a manhole frame having a hanging sill and composed of a cast knob(10). The cast knob is joined by a two-split combining tool(20). A lock unit(30) rotating by interlocking with a vertical motion of the cast knob is installed at the underside of the manhole lid by a hinge(36). The lock unit comprises a hanging piece(31) stuck by the hanging sill of the manhole frame; an unlock piece(32) lifted by an unlock guide groove(22) of the two-split combining tool to separate the hanging piece from the hanging sill in moving up the cast knob and attached with a magnet(34); and a lock piece(33) descended by a lock guide groove(24) of the two-split combining tool to join the hanging piece to the hanging sill in moving down the cast knob.
