A device for actuating two brakes in one step is disclosed, which mainly comprises an activating portion, two braking wires 11 and two braking portions. The activating portion comprises a braking button 1, a release hook 2, and upper and lower button covers 3 and 4. Each braking portion comprises a spring 10, a braking wire seat 12 and a braking assembly. The braking wire 11 is coupled between the activating portion and the braking portion. The braking button is movable between a braking position and a release position. The device is preferably used on a push-chair or the like.
