PURPOSE: A laser welding method for a tailored blank of a vehicle is provided to obtain the tailored blank having excellent appearance by increasing the welding strength and minimizing the occurrence of burn. CONSTITUTION: Aluminum-alloy sheets(10,11) to be welded are cut in a specific angle of inclination by a blade. The angle o inclination is secured to enlarge the surface area of cut faces which are welded. Herein, the diameter of a laser light source(40) is longer than the thickness of the aluminum-alloy sheets per the angle of inclination of the cut sheets or the same. The aluminum-alloy sheets are fixed by a plunger to reduce a gap between them during welding. |
