Unit (20) for supplying compressed air to a stamping device comprises a lever (23) running along the housing (8) of the stamping device and designed so that the flow of compressed air is interrupted when the lever is in the rest position. The unit also comprises a valve (24, 25) that is actuated by the lever and is closed when the lever is in the rest position. An independent claim is also included for a stamping device comprising the above unit.
