An adjustable fitting for handlebars onto a bicycle frame has a horizontal bar (10) with a clamp (104) at one end to grip the handlebars and with two outward facing geared grips (103) at the other end. An adaptor (20) clamped to the upright steering shaft of the bicycle is fitted with a horizontal bar (202) with splined ends to fit into two connecting tags (30, 40) with inward facing geared grips (403, 303) which are clamped onto the geared ends of the horizontal bar with tilt adjustment.
