The sofa (1) is at least a two-seater, but is only fitted with a single headrest (5) in order to avoid a bulky appearance. The headrest (5) is attached to a bow (6) sliding along a horizontal rail (9) hidden under the textile cover (10). A zip fastener is sewn to both edges of a horizontal slot in the cover and is opened or closed with two sliding elements joined to sides of the bow holding element. The zip is kept always closed except in the area needed for the accommodation of the lower end of the bow (8).
