<p>1413250 Reactive monoazo dyes HOECHST AG 7 May 1973 [5 May 1972] 21668/73 Heading C4P New reactive monoazo dyes of formula in which R represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl, cycloalkyl or aralkyl group, which may be substituted, A represents an aromatic radical of the benzene or naphthalene series or an aromatic heterocyclic radical, B represents an aromatic radical of the benzene or naphthalene series or an aliphatic or cycloaliphatic radical, Z represents a reactive group, Y represents a divalent atom or group of the formula -O-, -S-, -CO-, -SO 2 -, -CH=CH-, -N= N-, -CH 2 -, -NH-, -NHCONH-, -NHCO- or -NHSO 2 -, n, v and w may be the same or different and each is 0 or 1, m is 1 or 2 and r is 2 or 3, and wherein the radicals represented by A and/or B may be substituted, with the proviso that Z does not represent a triazine group containing chlorine or bromine atoms when m is 1, n is 1, v is zero, R represents a hydrogen atom and A represents a radical of the benzene series containing a sulphonic acid group, are prepared by azo coupling or condensation reactions. The dyes are used to colour wool, silk, synthetic polyamide or polyurethane or cellulose fibres in yellow shades.</p> |
