A safe method for storing mats upright against the wall of a sports hall has double ended tapes fastened to the wall. Securing tapes are sewn into the mat and are fitted with metal loops. The longer end of the wall tape is looped through an metal loop and secured by two interlocking press sections (A1, B1). The back of the tape has another press section (B2) onto which the shorter tape (A2) is pressed to form a double securing fitting.
