<p>The seal comprises a T-shaped support component (1) of tough material with a support leg (2) extending in the radial direction, and a congruently designed sealing ring (3) of elastomer material encompassing and lying against the support leg. The sealing ring has on the side facing radially away from the support component at least one dynamically loaded sealing lip (4). The sealing ring, viewed in longitudinal section, may have a sealing lip on both sides of the support leg of the support component and in contact with a sealing face (6) of a machine element (7) to be dynamically sealed. An independent claim is included for a sealing arrangement including the aforesaid seal, for the sealing of a radial gap (16) between a first (7) and a second (15) machine element, whereby the support component and the second machine element are connected by a press fit (17).</p> |
