Apparatus for wetting the wire ends

An assembly (1) seals the loose strands of a cable end (2) with hot solder. The assembly consists of a stand (4) with a control unit (3), liquid solder bath (6) and hot liquid solder supply unit (7). The supply unit consists of a motor with a pump, tube and jet (14) with a baffle plate (15). The pump feeds hot solder to the jet (14). The hot solder impinges on the baffle plate, thereby determining the form and quantity of the hot solder emitted. The solder supply unit is separable from the solder bath without tools.
