Workpiece holder and procedure for its production

The workpiece carrier (1) consists of a baseplate (2) and an element (3) to hold a workpiece. The baseplate and/or the holding element consist of a fiber composite material. The holding element may be constructed in one or several pieces with a first section consisting of fiber composite material and a second section in the form of an attachment made of a metal material. The baseplate with the holding element and/or the first and second section of the element are materially interconnected. An independent claim is included for a method for the manufacture of a workpiece carrier.
