The invention relates to controlled-release formulation of betahistine, or of its pharmaceutically acceptable salts, comprising:
<UnorderedLists id="ula01" listStyle="none" compact="compact"><ListItem>a) a core comprising a granulate of betahistine, an organic or inorganic acid and an hydrophilic polymer or mixtures of hydrophilic polymers;</ListItem><ListItem>b) optionally, a first coating layer comprising an hydrophilic polymer and a water insoluble excipient;</ListItem><ListItem>c) optionally, a second coating layer comprising hydrophilic polymers and colouring agents.</ListItem></UnorderedLists>
