<p>A silent running air pump has a two part pump housing (111, 112) with one half (11) mounted onto the motor (30) and with the space (12) inside the housing holding the drive gears (40, 41) and the crank driven piston (50 to 64). A flange (11) on the top of the housing has a central hole (15) to locate a piston sleeve (17) and a number of threaded holes (16) to fasten the upper flange (172) of the sleeve and the air output system (60) onto the mounting flange. The air inlet is located through the mounting flange of the motor and housing.</p> |
