The grinding fixture has a mounting table (1) that has a tensioning device having several chucks (2) for holding and fixing a workpiece (3) in the grinding fixture. The tensioning device is positively fixed at the workpiece. A measuring device (5) is provided for determining the evenness of the ground surface (8) of the workpiece. An independent claim is also included for grinding a workpiece using the flat grinding fixture.
