Streamlined plastic cover for fast downhill skier's ski boot - having two wings at the heel, lightly joined magnetically

For the sake of greater speed, a ski boot is given a flexible plastic streamlined cover, reaching from the forward part of the ski boot binding and back over the whole boot. Pref. the cover is attached to the binding toe-piece by a metal tag slipping into a slot; at the rear it has a pair of wings, which are only lightly joined together, by permanent magnets. This ensures the continued normal functioning of the safety binding. The streamlined cover is pref. made of polyurethane, partic. of a linear non-expanded polyurethane, a flexible expanded polyurethane or a flexible skin-forming polyurethane.
